Martial arts instruction · Amateur competition
Freestyle Jeet Kune Do™ is the application of Jeet Kune Do principles in an amateur freestyle combat sports setting.
What it is
Freestyle means striking, clinch and grappling in one contest, open to athletes of every martial art and combat sport. The rules are kept to the minimum needed to prevent serious injury, preserving the totality of combat.
Freestyle JKD is not a new style of Jeet Kune Do. It is an amateur sport setting where Jeet Kune Do principles, and martial artists from every background, meet to train and compete for the mutual benefit of the individual and society.
